The Education Committee of the National Association of Italy’s Partisans (Commissione scuola ANPI “Dolores Abbiati” – Brescia) is a group of ANPI members whose mission is to keep alive the spirit and memory of the men and women who fought the Fascists and the Nazis in Italy, particularly in (but not limited to) the city and the province of Brescia.
The Commissione scuola ANPI “Dolores Abbiati” was founded by former local Resistance fighting partisans and has been active for over 30 years. In 2001, the Commissione took on her current name after the death, on the 11th of June of that year, of WW2 partisan and politician Dolores Abbiati, one of the Committee’s founding members.
